These things are scary, I swear.

Our Nihongo sensei is someone who senses more than a normal person could. He even tells us he's in line with witches. That he's one of them. Of course it's hard to believe.

Long vacation

How are you?

I'm good! I'm at home spending the long Lenten holiday with the family. Everyone's here! It's noisy, it's rowdy, there's always someone screaming at the top of his/her lungs. :))

Too bad we can't go to the beach even if we want to.

A lot of tourists have come this year! And the number hasn't stopped increasing at all!
I saw most of them in the grocery yesterday. To think that it's already afternoon when I went shopping, I can tell from their outfits and the items they're getting/looking for! They must be tourists from other places since they don't have the local accent.

Do I think this is good? Of course, I do!
Our folks are having extra income aside from their usual catch!
I really think it's good for our town!

However, I just want the tourists to be responsible.
The usual, yes.
Their trash.
They should dispose of them properly.
The locals are always there to help, so it should be easy. The sea provides for them with or without the tourists they surely know what to do, so don't hesitate to ask them.

Let's take care of our beaches, of our sea!

So if you go to the beach anywhere...

Be responsible!
And observe proper trash disposal! ^^

It's been a long while~

I just stopped by to say I graduated yesterday.

I thought I'd write it here today. I remember writing a very overwhelmed entry when I got accepted in the graduate school so I thought I should write the end of that road here, too.

I finally got my master's degree. It was a long, disappointing, dragging road. I have disappointed my mentor a lot for being too slow on submitting drafts, for being too sulky and lazy, for having no confidence with my data, for having no motivation to move forward. But I finally cleared it. It took me too long but I cleared it.

I am not the happiest of happy because I don't feel like I deserve the degree, but I feel very grateful because of the people who helped and believed. I honestly don't know what would happen had everyone stopped believing in me, especially at a time when I already stopped believing myself. I apologize that it took me too long.

I don't know what will happen from now on. Will I continue on with research? I don't really know if I still have the confidence to do that. But whether I continue on with this path or tread on a new one, I will do my best.

It's been a while~!!!

I haven't been writing anything here in a looooooooooong while, have I?

Truth is, I started another blog months ago to practice my Japanese. Yep, I've been studying the language for a couple of years now!
I've also defended my masters' thesis last May (with so-so success XD). I haven't turned in my final manuscript though and it'll be due by the end of next month, so I guess it's still a lot of work for me not to mention the current project I'm working on with microsatellites AND NGS (which I swear to the gods I don't have any clue on what's going on). XD

For now, I'm alive. I still have my hands full of the things I have to worry about but I'm still alive. And this blog's still on. (I think it'd be a good idea if I cross-post things here.)

That's all for now,

My lips are chapped,
my hands are cold.
My heart is lost,
come take me home.

You have become my warmth.
You have become my song.

The lights have been turned off.
The simulator has started to move.
The dome has been lit with a million specks shining brightly.

I close my eyes and dream inside this make-believe reality.
And I explode just like one of the stars.

It's morning.

I looked outside my window out of curiosity
and figured the cars' roofs are wet.
I've been hearing raindrops clanging with the galvanized roof.
One by one, they go.
It's almost over. Maybe.
Or it's about to start.

So, that's why it got cold last night.
Rain will come in the morning.

Things to learn in the fandom.

  1.  The real definition of the following: POSER, ELITIST, MATURE, IMMATURE
  2. How to deal with them
  3. How to contain your temper when some people are trying to go all high and mighty
  4. How to avoid being a damn lunkhead yourself
  5. How to be CIVIL
It's really comic. These people who say we are ELITISTS with minds narrower than anal holes or something on that line, may I REMIND you that muscles around these holes dilate, LOL meaning they get wider.

You guys were too rude, now you look like some cheap farce. And with that, I pity you. And I'm LMAO here!

An addition to the clan: Alexavier Ruiz picspam :)

I think there was too much happening over the week that I don't know what to talk about. Boo.

There were actually a lot of happenings all week long but I'm too lazy to tell everything.

But the most interesting story, I'd tell them.

As a jolly welcome to the world, I'm spamming with my latest nephew!!! My dream for him is to be an idol! Joke! Though I'd love to see him play the harmonica and run around with wild animals! Yeah, you know who I'm talking about XD

An addition to the Aguila clan... the tenth of the third generation.Collapse )

So that's it for our 10th of the third-generation-Aguila picspam. Kawaii desshou? That's our boy there, and if I were his parent I'll raise him like Aiba-chan... or the master of mischief Nino! Bwahahaha *either-way-that'd-be-real-pain! face*

Oh... are there any interesting stories still? That... yeah. Filipino Arashi fans are having a good time pic-sharing over at Aibakaland. Those pics complete my meals! Gorgeous! Some even pervy hot! LOL

Interesting enough, right?

So there, I'm off. I want to have an afternoon nap so I'd be energized later in the evening for another round of screenie spamming and downloading! *rawr*

The most valuable lesson I've learned in college...

...was how to eat fast. XDDD So random, desshou? It was like a lifeskill in college to be able to eat at a least possible duration so you can work on your seatwork, assignment, formal report, project, slide presentation, etc. during lunch break.

It's been more than half a year since I left college but I still have that skill with me. I haven't been rusted yet. I used to be at par with the guys around when it comes to fast-paced eating.

And when I realized myself a while ago during lunchtime, I was already done eating in less than five minutes. My cousin even said in agreement, "You just sat down moments ago. So fast."

I love eating though, when there's no need to rush, I'd take them at a much slower pace. But maybe lunchtime is an exception? This is the most valuable time for us to catch up on paperwork and reports during college. I guess I would have that lifelong skill with me. LOL
